Important Travel ID & Entry Requirements

To ensure smooth travel, please review the following identification and entry authorization updates:

REAL ID (United States)

As of May 7, 2025, TSA and other federal agencies have fully enforced REAL ID requirements. Travelers must present a REAL ID–compliant driver’s license or identification card to board commercial flights or access certain federal facilities.
The final rule allows agencies to implement enforcement while balancing security, operational risk, and public impact. Read more on the Federal Register website.

United Kingdom ETA

Effective January 8, 2025, travelers entering the United Kingdom are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to arrival.

European Union ETIAS

The European Union will require an ETIAS travel authorization for entry beginning in the last quarter of 2026. The exact implementation date has not yet been announced.
